My son started at River school at a year old. When he began school, he was afraid of other children and very shy. He is now entering his final year in the pre-k class at River School and the transformation has been astonishing. As an educator for 13 years I am proud to say my son has become a socially adjusted, sensitive, imaginative, creative and artistic child. His vocabulary, literacy skills, math and science knowledge are beyond what most Kindergarteners know. The staff at River School have helped my son overcome his fears and become a risk taker, ready to try new things. The school and teachers are a loving, wonderful second family. I am so lucky that my son has had such a rich foundation during these most important formative years. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to enlighten and enrich their child's daily experiences and as a result have a happy and inquisitive child!

We have seen our son grow and develop in a warm, safe, educational, and enjoyable environment and this is something every family would like to provide as a daily setting for their child. The facilities at River School rival that of the best preschools in the city. The classes are immaculately clean and well-kept, the daily programs are creative and inspiring, materials are abundant, and the educational atmosphere is sophisticated and fun.
